Warren-Sipe House, Harrisonburg, Virginia
Currently the Virginia Quilt Museum, this home was the residence of Col. Edward T.H. Warren, a Harrisonburg attorney who served in the 10th Virginia Infantry and was killed at the Wilderness in 1864. The home was used as a hospital following the battle of Gettysburg in 1863. The “Boy Major,” Joseph White Latimer, died here from wounds received at Gettysburg.
